Unicity USA's second Director's Forum

Orem, Utah (November, 2005) Unicity's second Director's Forum was held in November at the Unicity headquarters in Orem, Utah. More than 40 top leaders attended this three day, all expenses paid training event, designed to provide in-depth leadership training to Associates at a critical time in building their businesses. The U.S. Latino market was most strongly represented at November's Forum, with nearly 50 Latino attendees.

The event began Thursday afternoon with a formal welcome at the corporate office which included an opening reception with Paulo Bangerter, Unicity Chairman and CEO. Later that evening guests mingled at an elegant dinner at Provo's Marriott Hotel. Unicity President Stewart Hughes presented guests with an award certificate, and an exhilarating Latin American dance exhibition wrapped up the evening.

On Friday morning, Associates met with Unicity owners Paulo Bangerter, Aaron Webber, and Stewart Hughes and received business-building tips from two of Unicity's top leaders, President's Club Members Rick Peterson and Armando Contreras. After this powerful training session it was time for some fun. Associates were whisked away to spend the afternoon at Utah's Olympic Park in Park City. Daredevils in the group experienced a bobsled ride of a lifetime-a 40-story drop in just over a minute-and rode the world's steepest zipline at 50 miles per hour! "The experience was wonderful and exciting," said Cecelia Sotelo, a Latino market Associate based in Chicago who also attended the first Director's Forum in April. "I loved the energy in the group and sharing cultures."

The Forum concluded with breakfast on Saturday morning. Participants left motivated and committed to implement their new leadership strategies as they set their sights on achieving the next Director rank. The event provided the perfect mix of business and pleasure; it was an excellent opportunity to share best practices, meet new people, and renew old friendships.

"Unicity is about Making Life Better while having fun," said Bobby Kim, North America Asian Market Manager. "Our Associates work hard to qualify for these leadership events. We support them with training, but we also treat them better than anyone else in this business."

To qualify for the Director's Forum, Associates achieved the rank of Director for two consecutive months during the qualifying period of March through August and again during the month of September, just prior to the Forum. All expenses of attending the Director's Forum, including airfare, hotel, and activities, were covered by Unicity. There is still time to qualify for the next exciting Director's Forum.
