Grand Recognition in Bangkok kicks off Unicity Southeast Asia Grand Super Regional Events

Bangkok, Thailand (August, 2005) The Unicity Super Regional event held in Bangkok, Thailand, on July 24, 2005, provided an inspiring preview of the success that awaits the Southeast Asian market and its associates.

Four Unicity products—Green Tea Oil, Be™ Hair series, Nature's Tea, and Lean Control—were launched at the event to more than 200 Associates and guests attending the Product Presentation session. Dr. Peter Verdegem, Unicity's Chief Science Officer, presented the results of the recent BiosLife2 study entitled "Clinical Impact of Fiber Supplementation on Cardio-Vascular Risk Parameters in Type 2 Diabetes," which was first presented at the 5th Annual Conference on Atherosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology in Washington, DC in April. Thailand's newly ranked Presidential Sapphire, Mr. Jurairat Suwanmaneeked, was also awarded a grand Achiever's Bonus in the amount of US $10,000. Mr. Paulo Bangerter (co-CEO and Chairman of Unicity), Mr. David Card (Vice President of Sales for Unicity Southeast Asia and Pacific Region), and Dr. Peter Verdegem (Chief Science Officer) attended the event with Mr. Ronie Tan (Managing Director of Unicity Southeast Asia) and Mr. Chakraphan Sutthatothon (General Manager of Unicity Thailand). More than 800 Associates and guests attended the evening's Grand Recognition at the Sofitel Central Plaza Bangkok, where hundreds of Associates dressed in Thai national costumes added color to the evening.
