Unicity™ meets "Out of Bounds"

Bad Homburg, Germany (September 2, 2005) For the ninth time, Alexander Cejka (men's golf world ranking: place no. 102; four times PGA European Tour winner), in collaboration with his Manager Richard Rayment, organised this year's golf tournament "Out of Bounds". This event has evolved into one of the largest Pro/Am events in Germany, possibly even in all of Europe. Professional golfers use this event to prepare for the yearly BMW-Open, which takes place the same week in Munich.

In the "Out of Bounds" tournament, one professional golfer plays 13 holes together with three amateurs in a so-called "4 Flight". Approximately 240 players participated this year, including a few celebrity golfers such as Dieter Thoma (former ski jumper) and Sven Ottes (Boxer). Other celebrities simply use the opportunity to spend the day with friends on the golf course, where meeting famous people like Oliver Kahn or Rudi Carell became a lot more informal than under normal circumstances. Everyone talks to everyone here at this event, which creates a relaxed and fun atmosphere.

An event like this certainly requires sponsors. Aside from the tournament itself, athletes and guests are offered many other things. A special highlight at this event was the golf simulator placed at tee A9. This year's golf simulator was "Sponsored by Unicity™"! Despite the bad weather, the golf simulator was frequently visited; active athletes and guests tried their best to hit the ball towards the screen. The computer is mercilessly accurate in determining if a ball is hit with the correct speed and at the right angle.
