Unicity CEO to Chair International Council of the Direct Selling Association

Orem, Utah (August 2005) Unicity International recently announced that CEO Aaron Webber has been appointed as Chair of the International Council of the Direct Selling Association (DSA). The appointment positions Webber as a key member of the organization, which aims to legitimize the business activities of direct selling companies around the world.

Webber continues in a legacy left by leaders representing only 3 other companies in the direct selling industry, so his appointment marks a notable step for Unicity as an organization. "The steps we have taken as a company have positioned us to be in this role," says Webber. "We are excited to be honored in this way."

A native of New Zealand, Webber has twenty years of direct selling management experience with a focus on growing business in international markets. He has spent his entire career in global marketing and sales and has managed most business functions in the direct selling industry. Webber has also been instrumental in opening many of Unicity's world markets.

Webber brings to his position experience doing business in 35 countries, including close associations with more than 20 of those countries in preparing and nourishing their landscapes for direct selling. He is currently working with the Chinese government in their efforts to re-open that world market.

In addition to his role as Chair of the DSA's International Council, Webber serves on the DSA Board of Advisors and is a member of the CEO Council of the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA).
