Unicity Make Life Better Foundation Raises $20,000 to benefit the Center for Prenatal Pediatrics at Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of New York-Presbyterian.

Central Park, New York City (August 12, 2006) Unicity's 5K Run-Walk took place Saturday, August 12, at Central Park in New York City. The run began at 6 am and over 100 people participated in this walk-run. Many attendees arrived as early as 5:30 am. Invited guest speaker, Dr. Juanita Jenyons, Professor in Columbia Medical University in New York City declared the start of the Charity 5K Run-Walk. As a result of the funds raised at this event, Unicity's Make Life Better Foundation presented $20,000 to benefit the Center for Prenatal Pediatrics at Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of New York-Presbyterian.

Each year, thousands of parents throughout the New York area as well as the world bring their children to the Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of New York-Presbyterian and to the Phyllis and David Komansky Center for Children's Health to seek the expertise, compassion, and medical leadership that has defined these institutions for more than a century.

The Center for Prenatal Pediatrics is dedicated to helping pregnant women and their families when a significant birth defect or genetic condition has been found in their unborn baby. The Center specializes in diagnosing and treating a variety of complex conditions such as:

- Congenital heart disease
- Fetal chest anomalies and other birth defects
- Genetic syndromes

Nearly $10,000 was raised through donations by Unicity's independent business associates and other participants in the 5k run-walk.

Stewart Hughes, Unicity CEO, personally matched the funds, rounding the total donation to an even $20,000.
