Unicity Make Life Better Foundation Raises $20,000 for San Diego's Children's Heart Institute to help support dozens of kids with congenital heart defects

San Diego, California (February 11, 2006) Unicity’s 5K Run-Walk took place Saturday, February 11, at Embarcadero Park in San Diego. The run began at 7 am and over 100 people participated in this walk-run. As a result of the funds raised at this event, Unicity's Make Life Better Foundation presented $20,000 to San Diego's Children's Heart Institute to help dozens of kids with heart defects.

Nearly $10,000 was raised through donations by Unicity's independent business associates and other participants in the 5k run-walk.

Stewart Hughes, Unicity CEO, personally matched the funds, rounding the total donation to an even $20,000.
